COVID vaccination services

Since May 2021 we have run a successful NHS COVID vaccination clinic from both our pharmacy and a nearby hotel where we have held large clinics on either an appointment or where possible a 'drop in' basis.  This service has allowed tens of thousands of patients from all over the county and further afield to receive their COVID jab in a safe environment.  We used our years of experience in running vaccination clinics to help us to run an efficient service with high levels of patient satisfaction.

Unlike our travel clinic, the COVID service is an NHS service which is free to all eligible patients.  This does however mean that we do not always have the flexibilities we have with our travel clinics when it comes to running COVID clinics as supply is set by NHS England and even how we run clinics is controlled to a certain extent.

When we are running COVID clinics appointments can be made by following this link or by calling 119.  Our service is called the Globe Hotel (operated by JWW Allison & Sons Ltd) as the hotel is still our designated delivery site.

At times we may make our COVID service appointments available using the appointment booking option on this website, by selecting 'Book an appointment' but this may not always be possible.
